The Gerti nightgown pattern is long-sleeved and slightly tailored, ensuring a comfortable, cozy night’s sleep, especially during the colder months. The markings on the sleeves and the front and back allow it to be lengthened or shortened as desired. This allows it to be sewn with short sleeves for warmer weather. The comfortable nightdress with raglan sleeves reaches almost to the knee and has a loose fit. It is quick to sew. The nightgown is available in sizes 32–46.

Materials needed for the Gerti nightgown:
- Jersey
- Cuff fabric, or alternatively, jersey can also be used
- Sewing machine (or coverlock and/or overlock)
- Twin needle, stretch or jersey needle
